5 Senses Outdoor Activity - Winter Exploration

Daniel, outdoor Educator from the Audubon Nature Center and intern, Sarah,  helped us explore the wooded areas and nature trails around our school. We used our Five Senses to discover tracks and animal homes. We saw signs of squirrels and woodpeckers. In one area, we used our sense of hearing to discover animal sounds coming from walkie-talkies buried in the snow. Inside our classroom, we used our sense of touch to explore antlers, branches and animal furs. We had a great time exploring the outdoors on a beautiful sunny day!
